The research method used was quantitative descriptive with a population and sample of 160 people. The data analysis technique applied is the Mann-Whitney Test. The results showed quantitatively significant differences between the two groups, with the average difference showing that fitness in villages reached 5.42 compared to students in cities. This indicates that the group of students in the village has a higher level of fitness than the group of students in the city. The fitness assessment using the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) category shows that students in the city are in the Medium fitness category, while students in the village are in the Good fitness category. The findings illustrate that more active physical activity in villages may be the cause of the difference. Students in villages tend to have a more active lifestyle, engaging in physical activities such as walking, running, and jumping, while students in cities tend to spend their free time playing with gadgets. In conclusion, the results of this study support the view that geographical factors and daily activities affect students' fitness levels, with implications for TKJI categories that indicate better fitness levels in villages than cities.
2024-03-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Gunawan Gunawan, Tatang Muhtar, Dewi Susilawati https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/kinestetik/article/view/33047 Development of Physiotherapy Standard Operating Procedures Case of Ankle Sprain in Basketball Players 2024-03-24T23:10:17+00:00 Aulia Rahmi auliarahmiii26@gmail.com Totok Budi Santoso Santoso2@gmail.com
Physiotherapy is a form of health service aimed at individuals and groups as maintaining and restoring body movement functions throughout life. OA patients experience functional impairment, leading to difficulty and pain in activities such as standing, squatting, walking, and climbing stairs. Land-based exercise is a non-pharmacological intervention recommended for long-term knee pain, as it can improve muscle strength, relieve pain, and improve function. However, excessive exercise can worsen pain. This systematic review evaluates literature on land-based exercise interventions that show significant effects on QoL and decrease in knee pain for patients with knee OA. The review includes six publications with randomized controlled trials and experimental studies that examined the impact of land-based exercise on knee OA. The review focuses on exercises such as yoga, strengthening exercises, Tai Ji, and Wuxinqi Exercise. The review finds that land-based exercise has a positive impact on physical function, pain reduction, and quality of life for patients with knee OA. It is a challenge for the school and researchers to discover the factors that cause the lack of bottom-passing learning in the volleyball game. Based on the research hypothesis, this type of research is a quasi-experimental research consisting of two research groups: the group with the reciprocal learning model and the group with the inclusion learning model. This study aimed to obtain an overview of the improvement of volleyball bottom passing learning outcomes. In this study, the reciprocal learning model group (Group A) and the inclusion learning model group (Group B) Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the results were accepted or proven. The truth of the effects of hypothesis testing is also supported by research data using the t-test, which shows a calculated value greater than t-kritik (2.90 1.71). Thus, the hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that the average increase in mastery of learning with the reciprocal method is higher than the inclusion learning method. The reciprocal method significantly affects the learning outcomes of volleyball bottom passing. The inclusion method substantially affects the learning outcomes of volleyball bottom passing. There are differences in reciprocal methods and inclusion methods on volleyball bottom passing learning outcomes, and reciprocal methods are more effectively used in volleyball bottom passing learning games.
2023-12-26T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Slamet Riyadi, Dewi Susilawati, Yudha M Saputra, Herdiansyah Herdiansyah https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/kinestetik/article/view/31130 Student Perception on Initial Experience of Flipped Classroom in Sport Education Department 2024-02-28T12:24:29+00:00 Zen Fadli zennahiza@gmail.com Heri Masmur Sembiring herisembiring@gmail.com M. The analysis results show that continuous running approaches a normal data distribution, indicating data stability and consistency. Meanwhile, the finding that performance variability was similar across the two programs led to new insights into the consistency of performance within the groups. The main finding was the superiority of continuous running in performance gains, with average scores consistently higher than interval training. This indicates the potential of continuous running in increasing physical capacity and endurance. The practical implications are relevant for the design of exercise programs, providing guidance for coaches and individuals seeking improved physical performance. Although the results show the superiority of continuous running, interval training may require adapting strategies to achieve better results. This research also opens up opportunities for further research, especially in understanding the factors that influence achievement in these two training programs. Further exploration of variations in training duration, intensity and frequency in the context of both could provide new insights into the world of fitness and sport. These findings provide a strong empirical basis for decisions regarding physical exercise programs, support data-driven decision making, and provide insight into scientific approaches in guiding more effective and efficient physical exercise practices.
2023-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Asma Bara, Tatang Muhtar, Dewi Susilawati https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/kinestetik/article/view/31009 The Potential of Diving in Teluk Dalam Banjarmasin City 2023-11-11T13:03:03+00:00 Lazuardy Akbar Fauzan lazuardy.fauzan@ulm.ac.id Alitya Putra Maulidan alityaputra92@gmail.com Eka Purnama Indah eka.indah@ulm.ac.id Maria Agnesia Panggabean mariagnesiapanggabean@gmail.com Mutia Kastaniah mutiakastaniah2207@gmail.com Muhammad Adlian Ashafiq muhammadadlianashafiq@gmail.com
Diving is a sport that requires skill, courage and agility in jumping from a great height into water.
