Abstract
Teknik relaksasi napas dalam merupakan suatu bentuk asuhan keperawatan yang dalam hal ini perawat mengajarkan kepada pasien bagaimana cara melakukan napas dalam Ada tiga hal yang utama yang diperlukan dalam relaksasi yaitu posisi yang tepat, pikiran beristirahat, lingkungan yang tenang. Posisi pasien diatur senyaman mungkin dengan semua bagian tubuh disokong (misal bantal menyokong leher), persendian fleksi, dan otot-otot tidak tertarik (misal tangan dan kaki tidak disilangkan). tujuan dari teknik relaksasi napas dalam adalah untuk mengurangi stres baik stres fisik maupun emosional yaitu menurunkan intensitas nyeri dan menurunkan kecemasan. Database yang digunakan untuk mencari artikel dalam literature review ini yaitu Pubmed, Chinahl, dan Scopus dengan kata kunci bahasa inggris “Patient post surgery”, “Relaxation Therapy”, dan “Pain Relief”, Sehingga mendapat jumlah artikel dari database Pubmed 23 artikel, Cinahl 9 artikel, dan Scopus 110 dengan kriteria inklusi yaitu penelitian berjenis Randomized Control Trial (RCT), artikel dengan sampel >30 orang. Setelah dilakukan seleksi peneliti mendapatkan 6 artikel yang sesuai. Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa teknik relaksasi nafas dalam dapat menurunkan skala nyeri pada pasien post-operative. Ada beberapa teknik relaksasi atau terapi relaksasi untuk mengurangi nyeri pada pasien post operasi yang dapat diterapkan, diantaranya adalah teknik relaksasi napas dalam, relaksasi benson, relaksasi otot progresif serta relaksasi progresif. Penggunaan teknik ini dapat diterapkan perawat untuk manajemen nyeri di ruang perawatan pasca operasi dengan keuntungan dapat menghemat waktu, hemat biaya, mudah dipelajari, dan bebas risiko.
