Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia have an important role in producing a young generation with noble character, religious knowledge and ready to face the challenges of the times. However, in many cases, students in Islamic boarding schools tend to lack adequate access and training regarding information technology. In fact, mastery of computer and information technology is very necessary to support various aspects of students' lives. With good digital literacy, students can access wider and more up-to-date information, increase the effectiveness of teaching and learning, and utilize digital media for da'wah activities and spreading Islamic values. Based on the results of surveys and observations at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, it shows that the students lack basic skills in using computers and the internet. In response to this, the KKM 53 team from Bina Bangsa University designed a training program to increase students' digital literacy. Training covers basic computer operations, use of office applications, and digital security. After training, 86.67% of participants showed significant improvement in information technology skills. The success of this program shows the importance of direct involvement of the implementation team and the high need and interest in digital literacy in Islamic boarding schools.
