However, chemistry learning is often constrained by limited facilities and concerns about the environmental impact of experiment waste. This community service program aims to address these issues through the implementation of a Zero-Waste Chemistry Class by applying safe, simple, and non-hazardous Green Chemistry-based experiments. The target of this activity was students of SD IT Tazkia Insani in Majalengka Regency. The methods included preparing simple experiment kits and guides (Making Milk Glue), socialization, mentoring, and evaluation using test instruments based on three OECD (2023) science literacy indicators. The program results show that the application of eco-friendly experiments was highly effective in enhancing overall science understanding, with 57.14% of students achieving the Very Good category and 42.86% achieving the Good category. Furthermore, the activity successfully fostered an understanding of eco-friendly chemistry awareness among students, with the Good category dominating (42.86%). This program is expected to be an innovative, meaningful, and sustainable science learning model, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) points 4 (Quality Education) and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).

Keywords: Zero-Waste Chemistry; Eco-Friendly Experiments; Green Chemistry; Primary School Students; Science Understanding.
2025-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Retno Ayu Puspita, Tiwi Nur Astuti, Gusman Santika, Azzahra Nabila, Maulina Hasmin https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/andromeda/article/view/45720 IMPROVING TEACHER COMPETENCE IN IMPLEMENTING GAMIFIED LANGUAGE LEARNING FOR ENGLISH FOR YOUNG LEARNERS IN KINDERCYL 2025-11-19T07:30:57+00:00 Hilda Puspita puspitahilda@gmail.com Ruwaiza Sasmita rsasmita@unib.ac.id Tiara Azzahra Marpaung tamarpaung@unib.ac.id
This community service program is intended to enhance preschool teachers' skills in using gamified language learning for teaching English to young learners at Kindercyl Learning Space. The program was created to encourage teachers who had limited experience using digital tools in their language class. The program included training, hands-on practice, simulated lessons, and mentoring, all using digital tools like Quizizz, Kahoot, and Canva. The results showed that teachers improved a lot in making interactive teaching resources and using student-centered, engaging methods in class. They became more creative, worked better together, and were better at using technology to provide meaningful learning experiences. Also, the program encouraged stronger teamwork between teachers, students, and partner schools, connecting classroom practice with academic theory.

Keywords: preschool teachers, language learning, gamification, digital teaching media, young learners
2025-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Hilda Puspita, Ruwaiza Sasmita, Tiara Azzahra Marpaung https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/andromeda/article/view/45773 PENGENALAN DAN PENGGUNAAN SOFTWARE KIMIA UNTUK SISWA SMAN 2 BENGKULU TENGAH 2025-11-19T07:05:26+00:00 I Nyoman Candra inyomancandra@unib.ac.id Elvinawati elvinawati@unib.ac.id Wiwit wiwit@unib.ac.id
Chemistry is one of the subjects that is still considered difficult and less interesting by most students, including those at SMAN 2 Bengkulu Tengah. The use of Chemistry Software has become one of the learning media solutions that can help students in learning chemistry. Therefore, an introduction to Chemistry Software was conducted for the students of SMAN 2 Bengkulu Tengah. This activity was carried out through an introduction and demonstration method and took place on September 26, 2025. Based on the results of the satisfaction questionnaire distributed, the majority of participants stated that the implementation of the introduction and use of Chemistry Software was interesting (74%) and very interesting (21%). In addition, the participants felt more motivated to learn chemistry and hoped that similar activities could be held again. The activity was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Bengkulu City on October 13, 2025, involving 27 teachers who are members of the Indonesian Language MGMP (Subject Teachers’ Forum) for junior high schools in Bengkulu City. The implementation consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation stage, participants attended presentations on digital literacy concepts, the UKBI Adaptive Digital system, and engaged in interactive discussions on how to apply UKBI results in Indonesian language teaching. The results indicated that the teachers demonstrated high enthusiasm and improved understanding of the importance of digital literacy as well as the function of UKBI as an objective and nationally standardized tool for measuring language proficiency. This activity also succeeded in fostering teachers’ motivation to carry out follow-up actions, including simulations and the actual administration of UKBI in the next stage of the program. Thus, this program contributes to strengthening teachers’ professional capacity in addressing the challenges of Indonesian language teaching in the digital assessment era.

Keywords: language literacy; UKBI adaptive digital; Indonesian language teachers
2025-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 MELI AFRODITA, Padi Utomo, Yayah Chanafiah, Mutiara Widya Utami https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/andromeda/article/view/46962 SOSIALISASI METODE ALTERNATIF MENGUADRATKAN BILANGAN BULAT YANG MUDAH DAN MENYENANGKAN 2025-12-17T01:37:48+00:00 Nurul Astuty Yensy nurulastutyyensy@unib.ac.id Rita Shintia ritasinthia@unib.ac.id
Mathematics needs to be taught to students to equip them with logical, analytical, systematic, critical, and creative thinking skills. Elementary school teachers rarely implement fun learning strategies in mathematics. For example, in the topic of squaring integers for large numbers. Generally, students are told to memorize the squaring of numbers 1 to 10, but for hundreds or even thousands, it starts to make students bored and difficult to calculate. This is compounded by the learning strategies given by teachers using conventional methods or stacking methods. This condition is also experienced by students of Elementary School 88 Bengkulu Tengah. An initial survey conducted by interviewing several teachers there found information that the majority of students are weak in mathematics, and they are also less motivated to learn. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to conduct Socialization of Alternative Methods for Squaring Integers that are Easy and Fun for Teachers of Elementary School 88 Bengkulu Tengah. The results of the activity showed that the knowledge of Elementary School 88 Bengkulu Tengah teachers about alternative methods in squaring integers increased after being given socialization and seminars during training activities. This is reinforced by the results of the teacher motivation questionnaire for participating in this training, which is classified as good, as many as 100% of the participants gave a positive response to this activity. The ability and skills of teachers at SD N 88 Bengkulu Tengah in applying the integer squaring method as an easy and fun alternative method for solving problems are very good, namely 100% of teachers have been able to apply it to various solutions to number squaring problems.

Keywords: Alternative Method, Squaring Integers.
2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Nurul Astuty Yensy; Rita Shintia
