Abstract
Manfaat aktivitas fisik telah diketahui secara luas kontribusinya terhadap kesehatan anak-anak. Ketidakaktifan fisik adalah ancaman terhadap kesehatan dan kesejahteraan penduduk yang patut diperhatikan sehingga diperlukan upaya promosi dan program yang tepat yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam aktivitas fisik, termasuk anak-anak. Kegiatan pembiasaan aktivitas fisik ini merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diselenggarakan untuk menanamkan pembiasaan aktivitas fisik melalui berbagai program kegiatan yang dirancang untuk melibatkan siswa dalam aktivitas fisik serta membangun pemahaman guru-guru di sekolah terkait pentingnya aktivitas fisik dan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang bermakna. Mitra pada kegiatan ini adalah SD Inpres 12/79 Amali Riattang, yang terletak di Kecamatan Amali Kabupaten Bone, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Kegiatan ini terbagi atas tiga sub kegiatan yakni: (1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani reguler yang berfokus pada keterampilan gerak dasar, permainan, dan kebugaran jasmani, (2) kegiatan senam pagi bersama (3), dan Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bola voli tiga kali seminggu yang diikuti oleh siswa. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan sikap positif siswa akan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani dan kegiatan senam pagi bersama, penguasaan teknik dasar permainan bola voli untuk siswa, serta pemahaman baru bagi guru-guru di sekolah dalam memandang dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani.
