Pemahaman Konseptual Mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika FKIP Universitas Bengkulu pada Diagram Medan Elektromagnet

Abstract


A conceptual analysis has been done from a research result on student learning electromagnetic field. A number of 32 students of the fourth semester in physics study program, faculty of teacher training and education, university of Bengkulu on the academic year of 2011/2012 was participated in the research. This 3 cycles action research worked on a problem based learning model. A cognitif tes was used to get a final  student’s learning outcome about electromagnetic field concepts. The student’s score increased 77.27% on posttest compared with the pretest score.On pretest, many students failed in applying the Ampere role to indicate the flux of electromagnetic field around many form of wires conducted electric current. In this research, the aplication of problem based learning model in laboratorium activities has been enhanced the student’s conceptions on electromagnetic field. So, it is concerned to develope other learning process that focus on improving student’s conception in basic physics concepts.
