Abstract


The research purposed to determine the level of effectiveness of Student Worksheet with the Contextual Approach on the subject matter that has been developed. This type of research was the development of research (Research and Development) by adopting the 4-D procedure that is the define, the design, and the develop. In the development stage validity, practicality, and effectiveness are tested. The effectiveness test of student worksheet conducted in Class VIII.3 SMP Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah with the number of students 32 people. The instrument of this research is the student activity sheet, the students' responses and the learning outcomes of students. The results showed that the effectiveness of student worksheet with the contextual approach on the subject of opportunity VIII class SMP is included in very effective category with an average score of 4.49 with the achievement of effectiveness: (1) Activity learners with an average score of 4.14; (2) The response of learners with an average score of 4.45; (3) Learning outcomes of learners who achieve a minimum score of 75 is 84.36%.
