Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Fisika Peserta Didik Kelas X IPA.1 SMAN 6 Pekanbaru

Abstract


This study aims to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of physics through the Student Team Achiement Divisions (STAD) type cooperative learning model. The type of this research is classroom action research with the subject of research are students of class X IPA.1 SMAN 6 Pekanbaru, amounting to 36 students. This research was conducted in 2 cycles and each cycle was completed daily to see the improvement of learning outcomes. Data collection techniques were daily tests and activity observations. The average daily test in the first cycle is 68.19 with sufficient categories where 24 students completed (66.7%) and 12 students did not complete (33.3%). In the second cycle, the average daily test was 78.61 in the good category where 34 students completed (94.4%) and 2 students did not complete (5.6%). Motivation of students also increased with the acquisition of group 4 super teams and 2 great teams awards. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of STAD type cooperative learning model can improve physic’s learning outcomes for students of class X IPA.1 SMAN 6 Pekanbaru.
