Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assesment, Satisfaction (Arias) Integratif dan Kemampuan awal Dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep dan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kepahiang

Abstract


The purpose of learning mathematics in particular is to develop creative activity of students in understanding the concepts and solve math problems, math learning include five standards to be met, among others; problem solving, concept understanding, communication, relationships, and presentation. The learning model ARIAS integrative is one model of learning is complex because it contains an element of confidence that motivate students to participate in learning better, curiosity of learning outcomes is conditioned can explore student interest, the relevance of learning material with everyday life to make learning activities into more meaningful, evaluation and reinforcement is given a great influence on the success of the students in understanding the concepts and solve math problems students, all activities are performed in an integrated manner. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning model and the differences in the ability of understanding of concepts and problem solving between classes eksperiment and control. These results indicate the influence of the learning model ARIAS integrative capabilities conceptual understanding and problem solving respectively by 7% dan16,7% by value Fh respectively 33.1915 and 11.1132, which means an integrative teaching model ARIAS affect the capability of understanding concepts and problem solving math students. Differences in the average value of the ability of understanding the concept gained an experimental class superior to 11.13% compared to the control class. While the mathematical problem solving ability of students showed the difference in the average value of the two classes of 18.39. Significant values obtained from the research on the ability of conceptual understanding and problem solving of 0.000 which indicates that there are differences in the ability of understanding the concept and troubleshooting of both classes of both the value pretest-posttest and posttest-postes of the two classes with the same initial capability.
