Abstract

The purposes of this study are to know and describe the determinance of the leadership style in National Education Office head of Lubuklinggau City. The method of this study used
qualitative descriptive technique by instruments: observation , documentation and interviews. The finding of this study show that empirically experience, education and training, recruitment process, and environment as capital worth for the head to apply the democratic leadership style. Democratic leadership style is very relevant to face subordinate in this case staff owning character and personality which are different each other.
