Abstract
Centryfugal Pumping Unit (CPU) is a pump that uses a centryfugal system. According to data obtained from known fields ?liquid is 995 kg/m3, and Z is 57.7 m. Then the calculation of the value of headloss, enter the known value of the pump motor power (Pm) is 10.54 kW, the pump power (Pp) is 5.83 kW, pump inlet pressure (p1) is 19.6x104 N/m2, the pump exit pressure (p2) is 107.19x104 N/m2, suction pipe diameter (d1) is 0.1524 m, the diameter of the pipe exit (d2) is 0.0889 m, flow rate (Q) is 0,0041 m3/s. Suction pipe in order to get the speed (Vs) is 0.226 m/s, and the exit pipe velocity (Vd) is 0,662 m/s. For the results obtained from the calculation of the total headloss major (hf) of 0.45 m, and the total headloss minor (hm) of 0,358 m. Thus obtained headloss on the pump type Centryfugal Pumping Unit (CPU) is equal to 0.808 m. According to results, it can be concluded that the type of Centryfugal Pumping Unit (CPU) used are ideal because the value of the pump head is larger than the total headloss value and efficiency pump 55.3%
