Analysis of the Leading Tourism Development Program in Lebong District (Case Study of Leading River Rafting Tourism Objects in the Ketahun River and the Air Putih River in Lebong Regency)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and know the Leading River Rafting Tourism Development Program in the Ketahun River and the Air Putih River in Lebong Regency. This study uses qualitative methods so that it can analyze and find out the Leading River Rafting Tourism Program in the Ketahun River and the Air Putih River in Lebong Regency. In this study informants were not chosen randomly (probability sampling), but rather were done by setting or pointing directly (purposive sampling). Purposive sampling selects informants who are directly involved and understand the problems of the Leading River Rafting Tourism Development Program in the Ketahun River and the Air Putih River in Lebong Regency. Data analysis of the Leading River Rafting Tourism Program in the Ketahun River and the Air Putih River Lebong Regency refers to four interacting components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the research program for the development of the leading river rafting in the Ketahun River and the Air Putih River in Lebong Regency are still not optimal. This is because the attractions (attractions) have not been maximally promoted and cultural activities and arts have not been provided for superior tourist attraction in Lebong Regency. In addition, the accessibility (accessibilities) is not yet supported by infrastructure and supporting facilities around attractions. In Amenitas or amenities there are no hotels or accommodations provided around tourism objects and there are no travel agents either from the government or private parties to serve tourists. In the ancillary services, there are no local guides who can accompany the tourists around the location. Suggestions that researchers can convey as follows: In promoting, the management is good enough but the promotion must be further enhanced by working with travel agents so that Angseri Hot Springs Tourism is better known to foreign tourists, Improvement of road infrastructure around tourist sites needs to be prioritized for support tourist attraction, and for waiting facilities should be built and renewed such as gazebo facilities for visitors.
