Abstract

This study aims to determine the Empowerment of Small Industries by the Department of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of Bengkulu Tengah Regency through the SMIs Development Program in Bengkulu Tengah Regency. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data sources are informants, observed events or activities, as well as documents and archives. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, the instruments used in this study were interviews; observation; and document review. Test the validity of the data using data triangulation techniques to compare information obtained from different sources. Data analysis used interactive analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
