Quantitative research using a survey method involved 74 respondents selected by the census. Organizational behaviour variables are analyzed based on three dimensions: individual behaviour, group behaviour, and organizational systems. Data analysis techniques include validity tests, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression analysis, determination coefficients, and hypothesis tests. The results showed that organizational behaviour positively and significantly affected employee performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.967 and a significance of 0.000. The determination coefficient (R Square) of 0.862 shows that 86.2% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by organizational behaviour, while 13.8% can be explained by other factors not studied. The organizational system dimension had the highest average score (4.50), reflecting that clear communication, a fair reward system, and a good organizational strategy contribute significantly to employee performance. Respondents' responses to organizational behaviour and employee performance were excellent, averaging 4.48 and 4.47. This study supports the theory of organizational behaviour, which states that the positive behaviour of individuals, groups, and organizational systems contributes significantly to employee performance. These findings have practical implications for organizations to improve team coordination, reward systems, and employee competency development to achieve optimal performance. Further research is suggested to explore other variables, such as leadership or organizational culture, and consider longitudinal research methods to provide deeper insights.
2025-01-17T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Policy and Public Administrationhttps://ejournal.unib.ac.id/ispaj/article/view/40587EVALUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EQUALIZATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS INTO FUNCTIONAL POSITIONS IN THE ENVIRONMENT OF BENGKULU PROVINCE BASED ON PERMENPAN RB NO. 17 OF 20212025-03-04T20:35:52+00:00Yuwika Apriani Aprianiyuwikaapriani85@gmail.com
This research evaluates the implementation of the equalization of administrative positions into functional positions in the Bengkulu Provincial Secretariat, based on PermenPANRB Number 17 of 2021. The study aims to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy of this policy. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research employs documentation, interviews, and observation as data collection methods. The study found that while the equalization process was successfully implemented, it has not fully achieved its intended objectives. Challenges include lack of competency testing for officials transitioning into functional positions, inadequate career development, and insufficient adaptation to the new work environment. The study highlights the need for better alignment between qualifications and functional tasks, as well as enhanced socialization and training for officials. Although the policy offers potential benefits, including clearer career paths and increased allowances, its effectiveness is hindered by operational and bureaucratic obstacles. Further efforts are required to ensure the sustainability and success of the equalization process, including competency assessments, career development programs, and improvements in the work system.
2025-03-09T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Policy and Public Administrationhttps://ejournal.unib.ac.id/ispaj/article/view/37735ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT OF TRADITIONAL FISHERMAN FAMILIES IN MALABERO, BENGKULU CITY2024-10-29T03:36:59+00:00Aqila salsabila komenaaqilasalsabilakomena99@gmail.com
This research aims to understand the economic empowerment provided by the government and non-government institutions to traditional fishing families in Malabero Village using a descriptive qualitative approach. The stages of this qualitative data analysis are described: Data reduction, data presentation and draw conclusions. Then a preliminary conclusion is drawn which is temporary and can change if stronger evidence is found in the next data collection stage. To avoid misinterpretation that can obscure the significance of the data analysis results, a field review of the results is conducted to draw final conclusions. The Result show the work readiness of the Bengkulu UPTD Work Training Alumni is quite good because the training provided is only basic, so that Information Technology training alumni still need to develop their own abilities. In more detail, as follows: 1) Alumni skills are sufficient because they have sufficient creativity and innovation, can solve problems in the workplace although they still need guidance, can work well with colleagues and can adapt to the work environment and can communicate quite well, 2) 2. Alumni skills are sufficient because the alumni training participants only get the basics in using ICT applications and the insight and knowledge possessed by the alumni ICT training participants is sufficient from the training they receive. However, to become experts they must take advanced training and must develop their abilities independently so that their insight and knowledge increase, 3) Alumni understanding is sufficient because they are able to understand and learn the ICT training provided, although some alumni training participants are slow to grasp the material and carry out the practices given so they still have to learn to understand more. In addition, problem solving is quite good because both at the training location and at the workplace they work together and have a work team, and 4) Alumni personality attributes are sufficient because during the training they are also taught soft skills to be able to respect seniors, how to deal with superiors and be responsible for the tasks given. In addition, alumni training participants already have high spirits and can manage time management well at the training place and at work.
2025-01-17T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Policy and Public Administration
