Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of group counseling services with problem-free talk techniques on peer pressure in class. This research method uses an experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were students of class totaling 34 students. The research sample is 6 students who have a low level of courage to refuse peer pressure. Sampling used is purposive sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research data analysis technique used the test (paired sample t-test). The results obtained in the study showed an increase in students' courage to resist peer pressure after being given group counseling services using the problem-free talk technique. This can be seen from the results of hypothesis testing with t test results of -8.648 meaning that there is a significant effect on the courage to refuse peer pressure before and after being given group counseling services using the problem-free talk technique for students.
