Abstract

K.H. Ahmad Dahlan's perspective on Islamic education was included in this research. This research examines KH's thought process. Ahmad Dahlan who views Islamic education as a whole and idealizes thinking that does not separate Islamic education from general education. To obtain data for this study, which is a qualitative research project, library materials such as books, journals, articles, and other materials were examined. Based on research findings it can be concluded that KH. The definition of Islamic education according to Ahmad Dahlan is education that can balance religion and general knowledge while fostering the moral, intellectual and religious development of students.
