Abstract
Mendeley is a reference management software and academic social network that can help us organize research publications, write theses, theses, dissertations, and other written works. The purpose of this service is to assist students in utilizing the mendeley application to compile references from completing final assignments or practical work reports and can assist in finding research references automatically. This activity uses lecture, interactive discussion, and hands-on practice methods. The instruments used were training modules and observation sheets. Data were collected through observation of the participants' activeness and ability during the training, and analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The training was attended by 18 students with high enthusiasm. The observation results showed that about 85% of the participants were able to install, operate, and utilize Mendeley properly for scientific reference writing needs. This activity not only improves students' technical understanding of the Mendeley application, but also encourages the habit of writing science.
