The purpose of this service is to assist students in utilizing the mendeley application to compile references from completing final assignments or practical work reports and can assist in finding research references automatically. This activity uses lecture, interactive discussion, and hands-on practice methods. The instruments used were training modules and observation sheets. Data were collected through observation of the participants' activeness and ability during the training, and analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The training was attended by 18 students with high enthusiasm. The observation results showed that about 85% of the participants were able to install, operate, and utilize Mendeley properly for scientific reference writing needs. The activity was carried out in the form of learning assistance using a participatory and collaborative approach involving educators, children, and parents. The methods used included training and hands-on practice over ten sessions, divided into two activity cycles. Evaluation was conducted through structured observation based on indicators of fine motor skill development in children. The results showed that collage activities using seeds (corn, mung beans, and soybeans) significantly improved children's fine motor skills, from 63% in the first cycle to 91% in the second cycle. This activity proved effective in enhancing creativity, independence, and hand-eye coordination in early childhood students.</p> nilna kholidah Copyright (c) 2025 nilna kholidah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/jap/article/view/42351 Sat, 07 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Peningkatan Kemampuan Sosial Emosional Anak Usia Dini Melalui Kegiatan Bermain Peran di KB Ceria Hati https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/jap/article/view/42353 <p>Kemampuan sosial emosional merupakan aspek penting yang harus dikembangkan sejak usia dini karena berkaitan langsung dengan kesiapan anak dalam menghadapi kehidupan sosial dan pembelajaran lebih lanjut. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia dini melalui penerapan kegiatan bermain peran di KB Ceria Hati, yang dilakukan secara terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Pendekatan yang digunakan mengacu pada model Penelitian Tindakan Kurt Lewin yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek kegiatan ini adalah 15 anak kelompok usia 3–4 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi perilaku anak selama kegiatan, catatan anekdot untuk mencatat respons spontan, serta wawancara dengan guru dan orang tua guna memperoleh informasi pendukung terkait perubahan yang terjadi. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek sosial emosional anak, khususnya dalam hal kemampuan mengelola emosi, membangun hubungan sosial yang positif, serta menunjukkan empati dan kerja sama. Pada tahap pra-siklus, mayoritas anak berada pada kategori “Belum Berkembang”, namun setelah intervensi melalui kegiatan bermain peran yang menarik dan sesuai minat anak, peningkatan terjadi secara bertahap hingga beberapa anak mencapai kategori “Berkembang Sangat Baik” pada siklus kedua. Kegiatan bermain peran terbukti menjadi metode pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, efektif, dan bermakna dalam menstimulasi perkembangan sosial emosional anak.
