Abstract

This research is driven by the significant potential of catfish farming in Bengkulu City. However, the "Tiga Saudara" catfish farming business faces challenges, particularly declining harvest volume and sales, which directly impact cash flow stability. This study aims to analyze the revenue of the "Tiga Saudara" catfish farming business in Lempuing Village, Bengkulu City. This research uses a case study method with a purposive sampling approach for site selection. Primary data was obtained through interviews with the business owner, while secondary data was collected from the business's financial records for the period November 2022 to October 2023. Data analysis was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach, focusing on the formulas for total costs, total revenue, and net profit. The results show that the total production cost for one stocking season (3 months) is IDR 689,087,500. With a total revenue of IDR 732,000,000, the business generates a net profit of IDR 42,912,500 per stocking season. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that this business is profitable because it is able to effectively cover all production costs. The results of this study also serve as an initial basis for business owners to implement better risk management and consider increasing the scale of operations, such as increasing the number of ponds, to optimize productivity in the future.
