Due to some reasons, JPF will not be published again until 2020. Name change for the e-ISSN submission process and the sustainability of this journal going forward.</div> <div> </div> <div>The journal with the name <strong>Amplitudo: Jurnal Ilmu dan Pembelajaran Fisika</strong> would begin publication in September 2021. This journal is a forum for publishing articles on the results of research in the fields of education, learning, and physics. Salah satu solusi yang berkelanjutan adalah memanfaatkannya sebagai bahan baku energi terbarukan, yaitu biogas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi potensi produksi biogas dari tiga jenis limbah buah, yaitu nanas, apel, dan semangka, serta membandingkan efisiensi energi yang dihasilkan dari masing-masing bahan baku. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen fermentasi sederhana menggunakan wadah tertutup yang dilengkapi sistem penyalur gas. Masing-masing jenis buah difermentasi selama lima hari dengan campuran air dan starter mikroba (EM4). Volume gas diamati secara visual, sedangkan kualitas gas diukur melalui uji nyala api menggunakan suntikan dan stopwatch. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa limbah nanas menghasilkan biogas paling banyak dengan waktu nyala api selama 5 detik, diikuti oleh apel 2 detik dan semangka 1 detik. Perubahan massa juga mencerminkan keluarnya gas, dengan nanas menunjukkan selisih berat paling besar. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa limbah nanas memiliki potensi tertinggi sebagai bahan baku biogas dibandingkan dua jenis buah lainnya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan website pembelajaran berbasis permainan edukasi menggunakan RPG Maker MZ yang dirancang dengan pendekatan Game-Based Learning (GBL) untuk kelas X SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&amp;D) dengan model Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), mencakup tahap concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan mendapatkan penilaian sangat layak dari ahli materi, ahli pembelajaran, dan ahli media. Selain itu, hasil uji coba terhadap siswa menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media ini mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, minat, serta pemahaman konsep siswa secara signifikan. However, physics instruction often remains decontextualized and theoretical, consequently failing to equip students with this crucial competence. This research aims to conduct a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to map and synthesize theoretical frameworks concerning the integration of locally-contextualized Socioscientific Issues (SSI) to strengthen modern scientific literacy. Through searches in the Google Scholar and Scopus databases, applying strict inclusion and exclusion criteria, twenty-five relevant articles were thematically analyzed. The synthesis yielded three principal themes: (1) The fundamental role of SSI as a bridge between science concepts and ethical reasoning and decision-making; (2) The criticality of local context in enhancing the relevance, engagement, and meaningfulness of science learning; (3) The potential synergy between physics and mathematics disciplines in facilitating quantitative analysis and modeling of SSI. This review concludes that a physics learning approach integrating SSI, local context, and mathematical reasoning represents a promising framework for realizing the goals of modern scientific literacy in Indonesia.
