Abstract
Latar Belakang: Anemia merupakan salah satu penyakit hematologi, yang ditandai dengan penurunan jumlah sel darah merah atau penurunan konsentrasi hemoglobin yang dapat memengaruhi kemampuan darah dalam mengangkut oksigen yang diperlukan tubuh. Salah satu faktor risiko anemia adalah indeks massa tubuh (IMT) yang tidak ideal. Anemia pun berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas fisik individu. Anemia dapat menyebabkan penurunan kemampuan aktivitas fisik dan kurangnya aktivitas fisik dapat memicu peningkatan IMT pada pasien anemia. Penelitian ini berfungsi untuk mengeksplorasi peran aktivitas fisik terhadap indeks massa tubuh (IMT) pada pasien anemia.
Metode: Pencarian tinjauan bersumber pada Pubmed and Chochrane dengan kriteria dipublikasikan pada 2010-2020. Pengumpulan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan mengadopsi konsep Cook dan West. Penilaian kualitas kepustakaan dilakukan menggunakan tools The Central for Evidence-Based Medicine develops (CEBM).
Hasil: Dari total 2.431 kepustakaan yang didapatkan, terdapat delapan kepustakaan yang masuk ke dalam kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Terdapat enam dari delapan kepustakaan yang didapatkan menjelaskan mengenai aktivitas fisik dan tiga diantaranya menjelaskan aktivitas fisik intensitas sedang dapat berpengaruh terhadap pasien anemia. Aktivitas fisik intensitas berat dapat menurunkan hemoglobin yang memicu anemia. Selanjutnya, dua dari delapan kepustakaan membahas pengaruh aktivitas fisik terhadap indeks massa tubuh (IMT). Serta satu dari delapan kepustakaan menjelaskan hubungan anemia dan indeks massa tubuh (IMT).
Kesimpulan: Anemia dapat menurunkan kemampuan aktivitas fisik seseorang. Aktivitas fisik intensitas sedang berperan efektif dalam penurunan indeks massa tubuh (IMT) pada pasien anemia. Aktivitas fisik intensitas berat dapat menurunkan hemoglobin yang memicu anemia.
