Abstract
Skabies merupakan salah satu kelainan dermatologi yang sangat menular. Diagnosis yang keliru dapat mengakibatkan wabah, peningkatan morbiditas dan peningkatan beban ekonomi. Tidak ada prosedur yang seragam dalam mendiagnosis skabies. Dermoskopi sekarang sudah banyak digunakan untuk mendiagnosis skabies karena dapat memperlihatkan dengan jelas pola jet with a contrail. Perkembangan dermoskopi yang signifikan dan keberadaan yang diapresiasi membuat dermoskopi sering digunakan untuk mendiagnosis skabies, walaupun banyak juga para klinisi yang merasa belum percaya diri utuk menggunakan dermoskopi karena kurangnya pelatihan dan pengalaman.
Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur review, studi literatur ini memanfaatkan PubMed, Cochrane dan Embased sebagai database. Keyword yang digunakan dalam pencarian literatur adalah: dermoscopy, diagnosis, dan scabies. Literatur review ini menggunakan literatur yang telah dipublikasi dari tahun 2010 hingga 2020. Seluruh literatur yang di telah didapatkan kemudian diseleksi menggunakan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditetapkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari setiap literatur yang telah dipilih didapatkan bahwa dermoskopi memiliki nilai yang cukup akurat untuk mendiagnosis skabies. Dermoskopi merupakan teknologi yang terus berkembang sehingga dermoskopi menjadi fleksibel untuk digunakan dalam mendiagnosis kelainan dermatologi seperti skabies.
