This study aims to describe the narrative structure of Maranda in the shadow puppet performance Tirta Perwitasari, performed by the puppeteer Ki Cahyo Kuntadi. The findings indicate that in the Tirta Perwitasari shadow puppet performance: (1) there is an interrelation of term elements within the play, consisting of 52 terms, categorized as a(3): b: c(4): d(4): e: f(3): g(5): h(2): i(1): j(1): k(4): l(6): m(4): n(1): o, and featuring 31 characters in the play; (2) there is an interrelation of functional elements in the performance, with 74 functions identified, consisting of (x36 + y32 + z6), where positive functions outweigh negative ones; and (3) the storytelling structure includes theme, characters, plot, and setting.
2025-04-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Nabilur Rohman, Eko Cahyo Prawoto https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/korpus/article/view/37846 Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Menulis Teks Tanggapan Kelas VII SMP 2025-04-25T13:06:09+00:00 David Sal Domi Novrian davidsaldomi11@gmail.com Dian Eka Chandra Wardhana decchandra@unib.ac.id Muhammad Arifin muhammadarifin@unib.ac.id
Based on field observations, many students still have difficulty in compiling well-structured response texts. This obstacle is partly caused by the lack of supporting learning media and less effective teaching approaches in teaching writing skills. This study aims to develop student worksheets (LKPD) for writing response texts for grade VII junior high school. This research is a type of research and development using the ADDIE development model. This research was carried out in several stages, namely needs analysis, product design development stage, feasibility testing by experts and practitioners, revision, small group trials, and practicality testing of LKPD. Validation results from experts and practitioners on the development of student worksheets (LKPD) for writing response texts for class VII SMP, which were developed fall within the very feasible criteria with percentage scores of 91.66% (very feasible), 100% (very feasible), and 100 % (very decent). As well as the results of student responses through the small group LKPD trials that were carried out, a percentage score of 93.66% was obtained (very practical). So it can be concluded that the results of the feasibility test on the developed LKPD are very feasible and can be tested on students, and the results of students' responses to the practicality of the LKPD can be stated to be very practical. The suggestion in this study is for teachers to utilize Student Worksheets (LKPD) as an effective learning media in supporting learning to write response texts. The use of well-designed LKPD can make it easier for students to understand the structure and important elements in writing response texts.
2025-04-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 David Sal Domi Novrian https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/korpus/article/view/40954 Perbedaan Eksistensi Penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia antara Generasi Milenial dan Generasi Z 2025-04-23T05:54:36+00:00 Welti Wediasti welti@mail.uinfasbengkulu.ac.id Fina Hiasa finahiasa@unib.ac.id
This study discusses the differences in the existence of the use of Indonesian between the Millennial Generation and Generation Z. Along with the development of technology and globalization, the communication patterns of these two generations have undergone significant changes, especially in terms of language use so that it can be accepted by the two different age groups so that it can detect the potential for a shift in the use of Indonesian which if left unchecked does not rule out the possibility of the extinction of the use of Indonesian. This study aims to analyze how the differences in the use of Indonesian between the two generations, the factors that influence it, and its impact on the sustainability of the national language so that it can develop strategies for preserving Indonesian, both academically and in community life. Therefore, it can be said that this study can provide an important contribution in efforts to preserve and develop Indonesian as the national language and symbol of the nation. The research method used is a mixed approach (mix methods) between qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and social media analysis to identify patterns of Indonesian use by each generation. The results of the study show that the Millennial Generation tends to maintain more formal Indonesian language rules in professional and everyday communication, while Generation Z uses more mixed languages (code-mixing and code-switching), especially with foreign languages such as English in digital communication. The main factors influencing these differences are the social environment, the development of digital technology, and exposure to global culture. In addition, social media has an important role in shaping the language habits of Generation Z which are more flexible and expressive than the Millennial Generation. Nevertheless, the existence of Indonesian remains strong because it is still the main language in official and academic communication. This study concludes that the differences in the existence of language use between the Millennial Generation and Generation Z in language use patterns do not necessarily threaten the existence of Indonesian, but rather indicate the adaptation of language to the dynamics of the times. Therefore, educational efforts and linguistic policies are needed that can maintain the sustainability of Indonesian without inhibiting creativity and innovation in communication.
2025-04-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Welti Wediasti, Fina Hiasa https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/korpus/article/view/38061 Pengaruh Video Tiktok terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Teks Berita Siswa Kelas VII SMPN 13 Kota Bengkulu 2025-03-25T08:48:08+00:00 Mutiara Aisyah m.aisyah90.mii@gmail.com Nafri Yanti nafriyanti@unib.ac.id Didi Yulistio didiyulistio@unib.ac.id
This study aims to determine the effect of TikTok videos on the news text writing skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 13 Bengkulu City. The main function of the kebah is as a means of education, reflecting public awareness of the importance of education in shaping life. Kebah functions as a medium of expression, where people can express opinions and complaints without feeling embarrassed, because the identity of the character being told remains anonymous. Other functions of the kebah include upholding authority, challenging tradition, entertainment, unification, socialization, forming cultural identity, and social criticism. In terms of its meaning, kebah contains a deep message, especially regarding the relationship between parents and children. This relationship functions as a foundation for forming children's character and values, where parents act as role models in teaching morality and ethics. This meaning not only affects individuals, but also impacts the broader social structure, forming generations of mutual respect. Apart from that, kebah also emphasizes the meaning of luck, which is understood as the result of a combination of opportunities and an individual's ability to exploit them, as well as the result of hard work. Thus, kebah not only has an impact on individuals, but also has an impact on the formation of broader social structures.
2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jasmiatul Hasanah, Bustanuddin Lubis , Sarwit Sarwono https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/korpus/article/view/40316 Tindak Tutur pada Interaksi Guru dan Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas VIII di SMPN 5 Bengkulu Tengah 2025-04-25T04:27:38+00:00 Firda Rimadona rimadona.firda@gmail.com Catur Wulandari caturwulandari@unib.ac.id Didi Yulistio didiyulistio@unib.ac.id
Speech acts in learning are important because they are a means to educate, guide, and facilitate interaction between teachers and students.
