Abstract

The objective of research is to describe the achievement of 8 national standard of education beetwen private and public school. The method is qualitative descriptive. Collecting
data use observation, documentation and interview. The result of this research: first, the content standard is not different; second, process standard are not different and qualified; third, graduates competency standard is different in specific traits; fourth, education and educator standard are different to authority of principal; fifth, facilities and infrastructure standard are different in procedural; sixth, management standard done by private schools are more elastic; seventh, finance
standard has difference in sources; eighth, evaluation standard differentially in follow-up evaluation results.
