EVALUASI CAMPURAN FESES SAPI DAN FESES KAMBING TERHADAP BIOMASSA DAN KUALITAS CASTING Pheretima sp
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi campuran feses sapi dan feses kambing terhadap biomassa dan kualitas casting cacing tanah jenis Pheretima sp. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 2 bulan pada tanggal 01 Oktober sampai 30 November 2021 di Pekarangan Perumahan Kelurahan Batu Urip dan Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah Universitas Bengkulu. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah P1 = 50% sekam padi + 50% feses (100% feses sapi), P2 = 50% sekam padi + 50% feses (50% feses sapi + 50% feses kambing), P3 = 50% sekam padi + 50% feses (25% feses sapi + 75% feses kambing) dan P4 = 50% sekam padi + 50% feses (100% feses kambing). Variabel yang diamati biomassa, kualitas kompos (warna, bau dan tekstur), dan kandungan hara rasio C/N. Data biomassa dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) dan kompos kualitas kompos (warna, bau dan tekstur), dan kandungan hara rasio C/N dianalisis secara deskritif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian campuran pada feses sapi dan feses kambing berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap biomassa, kualitas kompos casting dan rasio C/N kompos.
