ANALISIS KEBERLANJUTAN PRODUKSI PADI DI LAHAN SAWAH DAERAH IRIGASI RAWA AIR HITAM BENGKULU
Abstract
Eksistensi lahan pangan mulai terusik. sumber daya lahan untuk mendukung pertumbuhan produksi padi dunia sudah semakin terbatas, Keterbatasan tersebut disebabkan semakin meningkatnya konversi lahan pertanian ke non pertanian Alih fungsi lahan sawah ke lahan perekebunan sawit ataupun pemukiman secara perlahan akan sangat berpengaruh pada keberlanjutan produksi padi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menentukan indeks dan status keberlanjutan produksi padi di Daerah Irigasi Rawa Air Hitam Bengkulu dari dimensi ekologi, ekonomi, sosial budaya, teknologi dan infrastruktur, serta hukum dan kelembagaan, serta menganalis dan menentukan atribut yang sensitif terhadap keberlanjutan produksi padi di Lahan Sawah Daerah Irigasi Rawa Air Hitam Bengkulu. Penilaian status keberlanjutan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) yang disebut dengan metode RAP-Insus (Rapid Appraisal –Index Sustainability of Farm). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status keberlanjutan produksi padi di Lahan Sawah Daerah Irigasi Rawa Air Hitam Bengkulu Cukup Berlanjut dengan indeks multidimeni sebesar 55,88, dimana dimensi yang Cukup Berkelanjutan ada 4 dimensi yaitu Ekologi, Ekonomi, Sosial dan Budaya serta Teknologi dan Infrastruktur, sedangkan 1 dimensi lainnya yaitu Hukum-Kelembagaan berada pada indeks Kurang Berkelanjutan.
