Innovative, entertaining, and developmentally appropriate culture-based learning media are essential, which is the background for this study. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach and designed as a case study. The research subjects were teachers and 16 children from group A aged 4-5 years, and they were involved in the research through observation, interviews, and documentation in October-November. The results showed that children's creativity could be enhanced by using Magic Color Batik. This was demonstrated by their courage to express their ideas, diversity of color choices, and development of simpler motifs. In addition, children's fine motor skills developed, especially in terms of their ability to control tools, control hand pressure, and regulate hand-eye coordination when Batik making. Furthermore, the children showed enthusiasm and pride in Batik as part of their local culture. Teachers believe that Magic Color Batik is easy to use, safe, and can create a fun and beneficial learning environment. Studies show that Magic Color Batik is a relevant, efficient, inexpensive, and useful learning medium for use in early childhood education activities, especially for teaching art and strengthening cultural identity from an early age.
2026-01-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Isna Nur Chahyani, Muslam Muslam, Naila Fikrina Afrih Lia https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/potensia/article/view/45900 Pengembangan Model E-Modul Hypercontent Untuk Meningkatkan Berpikir Kritis Dan Menyusun Laporan Asesmen Perkembangan Anak 2025-11-18T03:42:12+00:00 Luluk Asmawati Asmawati 24010905020@mhs.unesa.ac.id Rusijono rusijono@unesa.ac.id Andi Mariono andimariono@unesa.ac.id
The purpose of the hypercontent e-module research was to improve critical thinking skills and the ability to compile assessment reports. The research method used the ADDIE model. The research subjects were 24 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and observations. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical data. The results of the study: (1) the validity results carried out by learning design experts were 97% feasibility percentage, material experts were 100% feasibility percentage, and media experts were 100%. The hypercontent e-module had a very high feasibility percentage of 95%-100%; (2) critical thinking results of the pretest t-test, obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.190 > 0.05, which indicates that there was no significant difference between the critical thinking abilities of students in the experimental class and the control class before being given treatment. This finding indicates that the initial critical thinking abilities of students in both classes are at a relatively similar level; (3) compiling a child development assessment report, results of the pretest t-test, obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.620 > 0.05, which indicates that there was no significant difference between the abilities of students in compiling a child development assessment report in the experimental class and the control class before being given treatment. Conclusion: The hypercontent e-module for developmental assessment was a very suitable, relevant, and effective medium for improving critical thinking and the ability to compile child developmental assessments.
2026-01-21T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Luluk Asmawati Asmawati, Rusijono, Andi Mariono https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/potensia/article/view/47381 Pemanfaatan Alat Peraga Edukatif (APE) Berbasis Ekologi utuk Menstimulasi Kemampuan Fisik Motorik Anak Usia Dini 4-5 Tahun 2026-01-19T14:12:07+00:00 Nur khofifah28maret@gmail.com Agus Khunaifi Agus_khunaifi@walisongo.ac.id Rista Sundari Rista.sundari33@gmail.com
This study aims to describe the implementation of ecologically based physical motor skills development activities through the use of used materials as educational play materials (ECD) and the role of teachers in supporting early childhood development. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach at RA Hj. Sri Mursyiarti, with children aged 4–5 years and their classroom teachers as subjects. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation using checklists and assessment scales, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that ecologically based motor skills development activities were routinely implemented before core learning and were structured using used materials as ECD. These activities were effective in stimulating the development of gross and fine motor skills, coordination, balance, concentration, and self-confidence in children. Furthermore, these activities instilled environmental values through direct learning experiences. The teacher's role was crucial in planning, implementing, and supporting these activities, despite variations in motor skills among children. The conclusions of this study indicate that ecologically based physical motor skills development is an effective, contextual, and sustainable learning strategy in early childhood education.
2026-01-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Nur, Agus Khunaifi, Rista Sundari https://ejournal.unib.ac.id/potensia/article/view/46517 Pengaruh Permainan Angklung Terhadap Keterampilan Sosial Emosional Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun 2026-01-11T02:06:29+00:00 Nazilatul Lailiyah nazilatullailiyah1103@gmail.com Ardhana Reswari ardhana.reswari@iainmadura.ac.id
Social-emotional skills are the foundation of early childhood development that determine the success of social interactions and emotional regulation in later stages of development. This study aims to determine the effect of angklung games on the social-emotional skills of 5-6-year-old children at Sejahtera Larangan Luar Pamekasan Kindergarten. The research subjects consisted of 15 children.
