Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi upaya peningkatan minat belajar Bahasa Indonesia di kalangan siswa kelas VII SMP 5 Bengkulu Tengah melalui pemanfaatan teknologi. Dengan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat, metode pembelajaran konvensional perlu disesuaikan agar lebih menarik dan relevan bagi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed methods) yang menggabungkan pengumpulan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Sebanyak 50 siswa dan beberapa guru Bahasa Indonesia berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi, seperti aplikasi pembelajaran, media sosial, dan video pembelajaran, secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya pelatihan guru dalam menggunakan teknologi secara efektif dan perlunya sekolah untuk menyediakan infrastruktur teknologi yang memadai. Secara keseluruhan, temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dapat mengubah

Abstract


 


This study aims to explore efforts to increase interest in learning Indonesian among grade VII students of SMP 5 Bengkulu Tengah through the use of technology. With the rapid development of technology, conventional learning methods need to be adjusted to be more interesting and relevant to students. This study uses a mixed method that combines quantitative and qualitative data collection through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. A total of 50 students and several Indonesian teachers participated in this study. The results showed that the integration of technology, such as learning applications, social media, and learning videos, can significantly increase student interest and participation in learning Indonesian. This study also highlights the importance of teacher training in using technology effectively and the need for schools to provide adequate technological infrastructure. Overall, these findings indicate that the use of technology can change.
