Focus and Scope
Bencoolen Journal of Pharmacy accepts original research papers in the field of Pharmacy and Health. The field of Pharmacy includes Science Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy and Community. In the field of pharmaceutical science, the research articles received include Pharmaceutical Biology and Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmacology and Toxicology, and also Biotechnology. The Community and Clinical Pharmacy areas include Hospital Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacy Management, and Social Pharmacy. In the field of Health, it includes Public Health, Nutrition, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Epidemiology and Nursing.

Peer Review Process
After submission, manuscript will be examined by the Editor for a review process for plagiarism elements, research quality and writing style. Manuscripts that pass the three requirements will be forwarded to the peer-review process, while manuscripts that are not written according to the writing guidelines will be returned for correction. Manuscripts that do not pass the plagiarism screening or manuscripts that are not include in the focus and scope of the journal will be rejected.
One article is reviewed by at least 2 reviewers. The Editorial Board will add reviewers if one of the previous reviewers makes a recommendation to reject the article.
If necessary, the manuscript will be given notes and comments by the Reviewer/Editor and will be returned to the author for revision if necessary. The review and revision process will be carried out until the article is declared accepted for publication.
To be able to proceed with the next publishing process, the author is required to pay the article publication fee. If required by the Author, the Editor will issue a Letter of Acceptance after payment is made and proof of payment is received.
Manuscripts that have passed the copyediting stage will be forwarded to the layout process that will be done by the layout editor. The manuscript in the form of a PDF document that has been completed (proofreading version) will be sent to the author for the proofreading process. The author is required to check the proofreading version of the document and fill out the Correction List form. This form must be submitted back to the Editor for the final version of the article to be improved.
Manuscripts that have been corrected based on the notes in the Correction List will be included in the publication list in the corresponding Volume and Number. The article will be accessible online if the journal with the volume and number has been published.

Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
Plagiarism
Manuscripts submitted to Bencoolen Journal of Pharmacy are to be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin. Bencoolen Journal of Pharmacy will promptly reject manuscripts leading to either self-plagiarism or plagiarism. Authors indicated performing plagiarism or self-plagiarism will be blacklisted and disallowed to submit their manuscripts to Bencoolen Journal of Pharmacy. Authors and readers may copy, redistribute, and remix the material, but must give credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate any changes made. Contributions must be distributed under the same license as the original.
Publication Ethics
Published articles are articles that have never been published. This statement of the scientific code of ethics is a statement of all parties involved in the publication process of the Bencoolen Journal Of Pharmacy including managers, editors, partners and authors. This statement of the code of ethics for scientific publications is based on the Regulation of the Head of LIPI Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications. Scientific publication ethics upholds three ethical values in publications, namely (i) Neutrality, i.e. free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Justice, which is to give authorship rights to those who have the right to be authors/writers; and (iii) Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications
The submitted manuscript has been approved by all authors (author and co-author). The author is fully responsible for the content in the manuscript, including the names listed as co-authors. By submitting the manuscript to the BJP, the author is considered to have agreed that the submitted manuscript is a manuscript that has been approved by all co-authors so that no complaints are submitted by the co-authors.
Manuscripts sourced from research that receive funding (from institutions, governments or other parties) must be clearly stated in the "Thank You" section complete with the contract number (if available).
