Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the employees of the General Election Commission of Lubuklinggau City. Primary data to be collected in this study are data related to the performance of the General Election Commission employees of Lubuklinggau City and the factors that can influence it seen from the implementation of its function. The lack of functioning of the evaluation mechanism and warning against employees who commit violations, deviations, or deviations from the stipulated provisions has the potential to weaken the responsibility of employees for the job duties they carry. According to the research, the high quantity of work results in the General Election Commission is marked by the low level of obstacles experienced by employees in carrying out their duties, the high work achievements that can be realized and the effectiveness of the work results against the targets to be achieved. Low job barriers, high performance and job effectiveness can affect the optimization of work results, thereby increasing quantitatively. Thus, this condition has leverage for the improvement of employee performance in the General Election Commission of Lubuklinggau City. It can weaken the performance of employees collectively. The categorization of the performance of the General Election Commission employees of the City of Lubuklinggau can be interpreted that in general the performance of the employees of the General Election Commission of the City of Lubuklinggau is classified as high. The high performance of these employees can be seen from five aspects of research, namely the quality of work results, quantity of work results, responsibility and ability to work together as well as work initiatives. And the high performance of employees at the General Election Commission is marked by the very high quality of work results and work procedures.
