Abstrak
Ketahanan pangan nasional membutuhkan gabah untuk memenuhi kecukupan pangan, gabah yang kemudian diolah hingga menjadi beras sebagai produk serealia merupakan salah satu komoditas pangan yang paling dominan bagi sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia. Hasil analisis rasio konsumsi normatif perkapita terhadap produksi bersih serealia menunjukkan sebanyak 39,66% kabupaten di Indonesia mengalami defisit ketersediaan pangan yang antara lain disebabkan oleh pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk yang tidak diimbangi dengan peningkatan produksi serealia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan peramalan (forcasting) terhadap besaran produksi gabah sebagai acuan dalam penyusunan strategi penyediaan gabah bagi penduduk untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan konsumsi pangan pokok penduduk Indonesia. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder produksi gabah di Indonesia dengan rentang tahun 2000-2021 dan dilakukan forcasting hingga tahun 2024. Sumber data berasal dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science). Teknik peramalan menggunakan empat metode yaitu simple moving average, weight moving average, exponential smoothing dan double exponential smoothing. Hasil forcasting produksi gabah tahun 2000-2024 berada di bawah produksi aktual dan puncak kenaikan produksi terjadi pada tahun 2017 dan kemudian mengalami penurunan produksi hingga forcasting di tahun 2024. Nilai terendah untuk MAD, MSE dan MAPE berada pada hasil forcasting menggunakan metode WMA. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode weighted moving average merupakan metode yang menghasilkan nilai kesalahan terkecil dalam peramalan produksi gabah masa depan.
