Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu tahun pelajaran . Sampel penelitian ialah kelas VII K yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling, sampel tersebut terdiri dari peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis yang berbentuk soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil pretest-posttest terkait kemampuan pemahaman konsep diperoleh sebesar dan , kemudian dilakukan uji paired t-test dan diperoleh nilai signifikansi taraf nyata yakni , sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifkan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik kelas VII.
