Abstract
Salah satu target dalam SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) adalah tentang pemenuhan akses air bersih, hygiene dan sanitasi yang baik. Hal tersebut merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia, dengan adanya akses yang baik terhadap layanan tersebut maka dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terlaksana di Desa Simpang Pelabuhan Dalam Kecamatan Pemul utan yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap diantaranya penilaian tentang kondisi sanitasi dan personal hygiene keluarga, pemberian edukasi serta evaluasi, sasaran pengabdian adalah ibu rumah tangga. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan (Agustus sampai November Tahun 2023). Hasil pengabdian memperlihatkan mayoritas responden pernah sakit dengan jenis penyakit menular dan mayoritas balita pernah sakit diare. Beberapa indikator sanitasi lingkungan yang sudah baik diantaranya adalah pengelolaan sampah, pemberantasan jentik dan PHBS, namun indikator yang masih harus ditingkatkan adalah kepemilikan jamban pribadi serta perilaku masyarakat diantaranya kebiasaan merokok dan pembuangan popok balita. Penting untuk meningkatkan upaya dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang memenuhi syarat hygiene dan sanitasi yang baik.
