The Journal of ESP in Indonesia (JESPI) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Postgraduate Program of English Education of FKIP, University of Bengkulu. Its primary objective is to disseminate scholarly information on research and development in the field of English for Specific/Academic/Occupational Purposes worldwide, and to bridge between theory and practice. The journal welcomes year-round submissions and contributions that address the common professional concerns of both researchers and practitioners. It is published biannually—at the beginning and at middle of the year.

Peer Review Process
The journal operates a peer review process and promotes blind reviewing. The editorial boards will decide the acceptance or rejection of articles based on the review results supplied by the reviewers. There are no communications between authors and editors concerning the rejection decision. Before going to the review process, all manuscripts will be checked to be free from plagiarism using "Turnitin" software. If there is an indication of plagiarism, the manuscript will instantly be rejected. Authors whose papers are rejected will be informed of the reasons for the rejection.
The journal is published twice a year namely in January and July. Each edition contains 8 articles.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
The Journal of ESP in Indonesia was established on February 23, 2021. This journal is under the Master of English Education study program. This journal published for the first time in July 2022. This journal accepts articles on English for Specific Purposes in Indonesia which include articles on teaching English in schools and universities for special purposes such as English for academic, work, and vocational purposes.
