Abstract
Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang menghubungkan materi matematika dengan pengalaman dunia nyata peserta didik, memungkinkan peserta didik untuk membangun pengetahuan baru berdasarkan pengalaman sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan disposisi matematis melalui pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education pada materi peluang di Kelas VI SD 2 Jati Wetan. Disposisi matematis adalah kecenderungan untuk berpikir dan bertindak positif dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 3 pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan RME dapat meningkatkan disposisi matematis peserta didik pada materi peluang. Menerapkan pendekatan RME dapat mengembangkan pola pikir, dan ide peserta didik karena berhubungan dengan objek dunia nyata yang dapat dibayangkan atau dilihat secara langsung.
