Focus and Scope

Jurnal Sain Peternakan Indonesia (ISSN 1978-3000) is a journal with open access. This journal publishes the results of original research, reviews / reviews / literature reviews, field cases or ideas in the field of animal husbandry that are relevant to any field of study involving livestock, zoology, veterinary, animal ethics and animal welfare, as well as social-economic of animal husbandry. 

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Sain Peternakan Indonesia will publish online and print versions of 4 issues in one volume per year (January-March Edition, April-June, July-September and October-December) and always free to access, download and reuse under the License Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0). Articles received will soon be published online when they are ready to be published.

Open Access Policy
Jurnal Sain Peternakan Indonesia provides open access directly to content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports global exchanges that are greater than knowledge. Users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full text of this article, or use it for other legitimate purposes under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Journal History

Jurnal Sain Peternakan Indonesia (JSPI) pISSN 1978 – 3000 and eISSN 2528 – 7109 are official scientific Journal issued by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bengkulu collaborated with BPFP, as a contribution to the development of Animal Science published in Indonesian and English containing research results, literature review/review, field cases or ideas in the field of animal husbandry.

JSPI was first published in 2006 twice a year, namely the January-June and July-December editions. In 2017, JSPI started to publish four numbers in one volume in one year, namely in March, June, September, and December. Special editions in English may be issued if necessary. Editors accept articles in Animal Husbandry that have never been published.
