Publication Ethic
Journal of Science and Technology Laboratory Management with E-ISSN 2798-8635 is a double-blind peer review journal, published by Bengkulu University in 2021, First publication in June 2021. Journal of Science and Technology Laboratory Management which aims to multidisciplinary articles from scholars and experts on the practice of science and/or technology for society. It is available online as an open access resource. This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing articles in this journal, including authors, editor-in-chief, Editorial Board, reviewers, and publishers.
Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication
Publication of an article in the Journal of Science and Technology Laboratory Management is an important building block in the development of knowledge networks and their widespread dissemination. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree on the expected standards of ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: authors, editors, reviewers, publishers, and the public. As the publisher of the Journal of Science and Technology Laboratory Management, the Publisher takes its trustee duties seriously at all stages of publishing and recognizes its ethical and other responsibilities. and We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprints, or other commercial revenues have no impact or influence on editorial decisions. The publication ethics guidelines for the Journal of Science and Technology Laboratory Management are based on and guided by Cope's core practices.
Publication decisions
The editor of the Journal of Science and Technology Laboratory Management is responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal will be published. The validity of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers should always drive the decision. The editors may be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and limited by legal requirements that would apply regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. Editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making these decisions.
Fairness
The editors at all times evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to the race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy of the authors.
Confidentiality
Editors and any editorial staff should not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, prospective reviewers, other editorial advisors, and the publisher, as appropriate.
Disclosures and conflicts of interest
Unpublished material disclosed in a submitted manuscript should not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the authors.
Reviewer Duties
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and through editorial communication with authors can also assist authors in improving papers.
Speed
Any selected Article who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that a speedy review is not possible should inform the editor and withdraw from the review process.
Confidentiality
Any manuscripts accepted for review should be treated as confidential documents. They should not be shown or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.
Objectivity Standard
The review should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of authors is not permitted. Editors should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Acknowledgment of Sources
Reviewers should identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the authors. Any assertion that an observation, derivation, or argument has been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. Reviewers should also bring to the editor's attention any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published papers of which they have personal knowledge.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review should be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest arising from competition, collaboration, or any other relationship or connection with any author, company, or institution connected with the paper.

ors of original research reports should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data must be accurately represented in the paper. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to allow others to replicate the work. False or deliberately inaccurate statements constitute unethical and unacceptable behavior.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that they have written original work throughout, and if the author has used the work and/or words of others that these have been appropriately cited or quoted.
Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publications
An author should not generally publish a manuscript describing essentially the same research in more than one major journal or publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is unethical and unacceptable publishing behavior.
Acknowledgment of Sources
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others should always be given. Authors should cite publications that were influential in determining the nature of the reported work.
List of Manuscript Auth
ors Authors should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, conduct, or interpretation of the reported research. All persons who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Other persons or parties who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be recognized or listed as contributors. Authors of correspondence should ensure that all appropriate authors are listed in the manuscript and that there are no inappropriate authors, and that all authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.
Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects
If the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have unusual hazards inherent in their use, authors should clearly identify these in the manuscript.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
All authors must disclose in their manuscript any conflicts of interest either substantive or financial that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project must be disclosed.
Fundamental Errors in Published Work
When an author discovers significant errors or inaccuracies in his or her published work, it is the author's obligation to immediately notify the journal editor or publisher and work with the editor to retract or correct the manuscript.
