Peer Review Process

Reviewers must evaluate a manuscript solely on academic merit, in which case if a conflict of interest is detected, it must be notified to the editor immediately. The reviewer must retain all information relating to the manuscript being reviewed. Reviewers should review the manuscript objectively. The reviewer must be clear about any vague statements written by the author. Reviewers may not review manuscripts that have a conflict of interest resulting from competition or association with any author. If plagiarism is detected, the reviewer must notify the editor immediately.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Ethics

PART I: Publications All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by at least two reviewers who have expertise in the field. Originality, soundness, novelty and language are factors considered in reviews by reviewers. The results of the review are categorized as eligible for publication in the Tropical Livestock Bulletin without revision, eligible for publication in BPT with minor revisions, eligible for publication in BPT with major revisions, and rejected. If the author revises and resubmits the manuscript, there is no guarantee that the revised manuscript will be accepted. Rejected manuscripts will not be reviewed.
 
PART II: Editors Editors have full responsibility and authority to reject / accept manuscripts. Editors must guarantee the quality of papers published in Bulletin of Tropical Animal Science. The editor must provide all the information needed by the author to improve the quality of the publication. Editors must maintain the identity or anonymity of the reviewer. The editor must publish errata pages when necessary. Editors must not allow conflicts of interest to exist between authors, reviewers, and board members.
 
PART III: Authors Authors must state that the manuscript has not been previously published or is not being considered for publication elsewhere. The author must state that the submitted manuscript is free from plagiarism. The author certifies that the experiments were carried out in accordance with national, international or applicable regulations for conducting scientific research. Authors must follow the BPT guidelines. The author states that all data analyzed is real.

Copyright Notice

When submitting an article to be published in Bulletin of Tropical Animal Science, the author must make a statement that the work is original and has never been published or is not being considered for publication in another journal. The author also provides a statement of transfer of manuscript copyright to Bulletin of Tropical Animal Science if and when the article is accepted for publication.

Publication Fee

Each article published in the Bulletin of Tropical Animal Science is subject to a publication fee of IDR 400,000
