The Bulletin of Tropical Animal Science was published for the first time in 2020, with 2 numbers for each volume and 6 articles for each number. Starting in 2021 the Bulletin of Tropical Animal Science is published with 2 numbers for each volume and 10 articles for each number. Starting from Volume 2 number 2, before sending it to bestari partners, each incoming article is checked for similarity by using the Plagiarism Checker. Articles with a similarity level of > 25% are returned to the authors for correction. The Bulletin of Tropical Animal Science has been accredited by the Directorate of Higher Education with a Sinta 4 rating based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia number 204/E/KPT/2022 dated October 3, 2022. Accreditation is valid from Volume 1 number 1 (2020) to Volume 5 number 2 (2024).

Bulletin of Tropical Animal Science (Bull. Trop. Anim. Sci.) is a scientific journal published in collaboration with Badan Penerbitan Fakultas Pertanian (BPFP), University of Bengkulu and Himpunan Peternakan Peternakan Indonesia (HILPI). This bulletin publishes scientific articles based on double blind peer-reviews with the aim of disseminating all information that contributes to the understanding and development of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine in the tropics. This bulletin publishes original research articles, literature review articles. field cases, original ideas or other scholarly articles. The Bulletin of Tropical Animal Science is published twice a year, namely in May and November.
