Pengelolaan limbah laboratorium peternakan di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan kompleks, meliputi risiko kontaminasi lingkungan (polutan, patogen, gas rumah kaca), kesenjangan data, keterbatasan teknologi-ekonomi (terutama pada skala kecil), serta lemahnya koordinasi dan penegakan regulasi meskipun kerangka hukum seperti UU No. 18/2008 dan PP No. 101/2014 telah ada. Artikel ini menganalisis strategi implementasi melalui review literatur sistematis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa inovasi teknologi seperti sistem pengelolaan limbah pintar (sensor, AI, daur ulang pelarut) dan konversi limbah menjadi energi (pirolisis, gasifikasi) berpotensi meningkatkan keberlanjutan. Pendekatan ekonomi sirkular dan kolaborasi multistakeholder menjadi kunci, didukung penegakan regulasi berbasis sanksi administratif serta hierarki panduan terintegrasi. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan mampu mengurangi dampak lingkungan sekaligus mengoptimalkan nilai ekonomi limbah laboratorium peternakan.
