Focus and Scope

 

Jurnal Ilmiah Potensia publishes reports field studies, research articles,  the best practices and policies of early childhood learning in the national and international stage.

Jurnal Ilmiah Potensia publishes original manuscripts, reviews, and information about association activities. Its purpose is to provide a forum for consideration of issues and for the exchange of information and ideas about research and practice in early childhood teacher education. 


Areas of Emphasis:

International studies;
Educational programs in diverse settings;
Projects demonstrating inter-professional collaboration;
Qualitative and quantitative research and case studies;
Theory, research, and practice relating to professional development;

Peer Review Process

 

The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least by 2 (two) reviewers. The final decision of the acceptance or rejection of the article is made by Editor-in-Chief based on the comments given by the reviewers.  Screening of plagiarism will be done by utilizing powerfull plagiarism checker apps. The accepted research articles will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Publication Ethics

 

Journal Ilmiah Potensia is a journal that is professionally managed by the Postgraduate Program of Early Childhood Education, Universitas Bengkulu, Indonesia, under consideration of copyright, privacy, and the rules of scientific publications. Every article published focuses mainly on applied linguistics, literature, and English language teaching. Articles are written by authors who are competent in their fields and source from the results of the study/research. Each content of the article contains the elements of novelty, originality, and usability. To improve journal quality and professionalism of authors, editors, reviewers, and journal managers, it is then established "Ethics of Scientific Publications of JIP". They are to avoid malpractice in publishing journals and copyright violations, such as duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism. They refer to "Peraturan Kepala LIPI Nomor 5 Tahun 2014 tentang Kode Etika Publikasi Ilmiah". They are expected to be implemented by the authors, editors, reviewers, and journal managers.

Journal Ilmiah Potensia is an open access journal so that it is free of charge for readers, writers, and anyone accessing full-text articles in this journal site (see Open Accsess Policy)

 

Plagiarism Policy

We accept all terms and conditions of COPE about plagiarism and in case, any attempt of plagiarism is brought to our attention accompanied by convincing evidence, we act based on flowcharts and workflows determined in COPE. Every manuscript that has been submitted will be checked for plagiarism with powerful apps for plagiarism checker. The maximum similarity is 25%
